Hey Friedns am trying to make a similar gradient effect using FW CS3. And iam also posting the png along with my efforts so far.Please some one help and teach me how to achieve similar gradient effect.Thanks in advance.

Cut a piece from your original picture, and put on the side of your working graphic.
Enlarge your viewable area and matching the colors of the gradient. Yeah, be patient. It's taking time but the job could be done.
